We are hosting a group of school children and teachers from Taiwan in July and are looking for host families for 3 nights – Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th July. Please contact Miss Phillips at school if you can help out. -
Success in Chemistry Competition
Stainburn pupils took their Science too new heights when competing in the Royal Society of Chemistry, “Top of the Bench” competition. Stainburn Radio podcast comes runner-up in competition
The Managing Radioactive Waste Safely Partnership (MRWS) held a competition for young people to produce a balanced news report about a possible nuclear waste repository in West Cumbria. Stainburn Radio entered a 4 minute podcast featuring interviews with local MP Tony Cunningham and local Councillor Michael Heaslip.
